Biography

Andrea loves to get people dancing, sweating, smiling, and laughing all the way through their workout! She is a certified ACE (American Council on Exercise) fitness professional and also holds licensures and certifications in Zumba, Spin, Kickboxing, PiYo, Barre, Turbokick, FIRE, and H.I.T.T.  A former journalist and High School English teacher, she currently works as a college professor, freelance editor, writing consultant, and fitness professional. She is also the author of the memoir, Tatsimou, Hold On (Adelaide Books, 2018), the Christian nonfiction book, Finding the Finish Line: Navigating the Race of Life through Faith & Fitness (CrossLink Publishing, 2017), and the poetry collection, Forgotten Coffee (Adelaide Books, 2019). Andrea has lived in Geneva most of her life and regularly competes in marathons, triathlons, and races where mud and/or chocolate are featured as the main event. She loves Jesus, her obnoxious Greek family, the trendiness of kale, in that order, and the sonorous sounds of vocal acoustics in the shower.
