Kayla is a board certified Physical Therapist and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. She received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with minors in Coaching, Fitness Instruction, and Psychology from Indiana University in 2014. While at Indiana, Kayla competed as a Division I tennis player. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Northern Illinois University in 2017. As a physical therapist for Ivy Rehab in Sugar Grove, her clinical interests include injury prevention, management of the overhead athlete, and youth sports specialization. She is also certified in a therapeutic exercise program for individuals with Parkinson’s Disease. Kayla likes to bring her clinical knowledge to the gym to empower her patients and clients with the education to manage their own symptoms while also enhancing their body mechanics and posture through therapeutic exercise. She is a member of the American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy and the Society for Tennis Medicine and Science.
